“The unemployment rate stood at 6.7%, 0.1 percentage points higher than the previous month and three months before, but 0.2 percentage points lower than the same month in 2023”, adds INE in the “Monthly Employment and Unemployment Estimates” for February.

That month, there were 359,400 unemployed people, 2.1% more than in January and 3.2% in relation to three months before, and 1.1% lower than in January 2023.
