The Obstetrics and Gynaecology emergency rooms at the Barreiro and Aveiro hospitals will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, as will the Paediatrics emergency room at Vila Franca de Xira Hospital, according to the website's emergency schedule.

On Saturday, the Obstetrics and Gynaecology emergency rooms at the Setúbal and Caldas da Rainha hospitals will also be closed, while the same will be true at Garcia da Orta Hospital on Sunday.

Regarding the emergency departments referred only by the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) or the SNS 24 line, the portal lists the paediatric departments at the Amadora-Sintra and Loures hospitals, open between midnight and midnight on both days.

Also listed are the Gynaecology and Obstetrics emergency departments at the hospitals in Braga (Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, from 8:00 AM to midnight), Santarém (Saturday, from midnight to 8:30 AM), Leiria (Saturday and Sunday, midnight to midnight), and Amadora-Sintra (Sunday, midnight to midnight).

Health authorities urge the public to contact the SNS24 Line (808 24 24 24) before going to an emergency room to receive appropriate guidance.
