Vasco Cristo told the Lusa agency that two boats were engaged, one from the Institute of Shipwreck Relief and one from the Navy.
A Maritime Police drone is also assisting in searching inaccessible offshore locations.
By land, searches are being handled by the Maritime Police, PSP and Peniche firefighters and the Porto captain added that a team of divers is being considered to reinforce the searches.
Relief operations have already mobilized at least 29 operatives and three vehicles.
On Monday, 28 October, afternoon, a 60-year-old man of Korean and American nationality “was in danger zone by the water” in Cabo Carvoeiro, Peniche, when he was dragged by a wave and disappeared at sea.
What is the name of the victim? Can the name be released?
Thanks.

Is there any more news on the missing Korean American who was missing in the water. He was my friend and my co worker at the United States postal service.
