Without commenting on his interrogation by Judge Ivo Rosa - in the context of the pre-trial hearing of the Marquês case - José Sócrates criticised the sources that were used by the media to report the first day that he answered questions from the magistrate.

"Today I am in a very good mood, but I read the front pages of the newspapers and I get the feeling that the usual sources you have are a little disoriented," he said.

Today is the second day that José Sócrates will answer questions from Judge Ivo Rosa and the public prosecutors in an attempt not to go to trial for the 31 economic and financial crimes of which he is accused.

The Operation Marquis vase began more than five years ago and has 28 defendants who are accused of 188 crimes.
