The IPMA has also placed several municipalities in all
districts of mainland Portugal at very high and high risk of rural fire.
According to the Institute, the danger of rural fire will
remain high in some regions of the country until at least Sunday.
The Government decided on Tuesday that it is was not
necessary to reinstate the state of emergency in the country as weather
forecasts pointed to a more “usual summer scenario”.
The IPMA forecasts clear or cloudy skies in mainland
Portugal. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 13 degrees Celsius (in
Viseu) and 20 (in Faro) and the maximum between 23 (in Aveiro) and 35 (in
Castelo Branco).
