Gareth Southgate will also announce his final 26-man squad – with James Maddison and Curtis Jones already left out of the squad.

Players such as Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Phil Foden are surely on the plane – however good performances from the likes of Eberechi Eze and Jack Grealish could sway Southgate's hand. While Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins will likely fight it out to be second-choice striker behind Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.

Kick-off at Wembley Stadium is at 7:45pm.

Steve Clarke’s Scotland will also be in action at Hampden Park, as they take on Finland before they play the inaugural match over Euro 2024 against the hosts Germany next Friday.

Clarke doesn’t have the same issues as his English counterpart in terms of squad selection. However, the Scots have only managed 1 win in their last 5 matches.

Kick-off at Hampden Park is at 7:45pm.
