Mattia Zaccagni scored a 98th-minute equaliser to cancel out Luka Modric's goal to eliminate Croatia from Euro 2024.
Albania vs Spain
A heavily rotated Spain side managed to beat Albania 0-1, thanks to a goal from FC Barcelona’s Ferran Torres. Victory for Spain means they are the only team to win their group with maximum points from 9.
Group C:
Denmark 0-0 Serbia
Serbia were eliminated from Euro 2024, after their boring draw with Denmark at the Fußball Arena Munchen.
England 0-0 Slovenia
Slovenia managed to qualify for the knockout stages after their 0-0 draw with England. Gareth Southgate’s men won the group despite below-average performances.
Group D:
Netherlands 2-3 Austria
Austria shocked European Football with a 2-3 victory over the Netherlands, winning their group – which included France and Poland. Both sides qualified for the knockout stages.
France 1-1 Poland
Kylian Mbappe scored his first-ever European Championship goal as France was held to a 1-1 draw with Poland at the BVB Stadion Dortmund.
Group E:
Slovakia 1-1 Romania
Slovakia and Romania played out a thoroughly enjoyable 1-1 draw, both teams have now qualified for the knockout phase – with Romania winning Group E.
Belgium 0-0 Ukraine
Ukraine became the first team in European Championship history to fail to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament with 4 points in the group. They played out a boring draw with Belgium. Domenico Tedesco’s side qualified as one of the best third-placed teams.
Group F:
Georgia 2-0 Portugal
Kvicha Kvaratskheila starred in Georgia’s 2-0 victory over Portugal. Portugal made eight changes after their 3-0 victory over Turkey on Saturday. Willy Sagnol’s team has managed to qualify for the knockout stages for the first time.
Czech Republic 1-2 Turkey
A courageous Czech Republic team was unable to beat Turkey in Group F. Antonin Barak was sent off in the 20th minute for the Czechs – however, despite their best efforts, Cenk Tosun’s finish gave Turkey the win.
