Roberto Martinez used 17 players as he looks to ‘fine tune’ his squad before heading to Germany.

Manchester City's Ruben Dias gave Portugal the lead in the 17th minute of the game with a free header at the back post. Portugal continued their dominant display and doubled their lead in added time through Diogo Jota from the penalty spot.

Portugal began to lose the rhythm they had in the first half after making five changes at the break – however, it didn’t take long for arguably the ‘most informed player in the world’ in Bruno Fernandes to make an impact in the game as he scored an outrageous goal to give Seleção a 3-0 lead.

The game was not over however, as Finland substitute and former Norwich City player Teemu Pukki scored a quickfire brace – making it 3-2 to Portugal.

Bruno Fernandes however, would have the final say as he scored his second goal of the game with a tidy finish, beating Bayer Leverkusen’s Lukas Hradecky in goal for the Fins.

Portugal will be in action against Croatia next Saturday at the Estadio do Jomar in Algés.
