According to a report by LBC, Mr Scott was due to fly to Glasgow yesterday evening but has instead been offered an alternative flight on 5 September by easyJet.

According to LBC: “Neil said when he arrived at the airport there were large queues but once he was able to speak to a staff member "there was no information whatsoever there was no possibility of getting any questions answered about where we stay, do we get alternative flights, do we get meals paid for, compensation, anything?"

He told LBC that he had been given a number for easyJet but had been unable to get through to speak to anyone.

He added that due to the fact he had been offered an alternative flight her is unable to book alternative flights back to the UK or claim a refund.
